Newsletter
Each newsletter contains a message from the President, block of the month pattern, book reviews, member submitted articles, a brief summary of the last meeting, minutes from the last board meeting, upcoming events, reports from board members, general quilting articles and other miscellaneous information about SCVQA.
The SCVQA Newsletter is mailed 12 times per year. It is free with SCVQA membership or you may take out a subscription for $18.00 per year.
Guild members are encouraged to sign up for the online version of the newsletter. Please note that this mailing list is only used to send out the url to the latest newsletter. All other email is automatically blocked.
- If you use the type of spam filter that sends email back to the
sender asking them for more information, then please do whatever is
necessary to allow messages through from
scvqaonlinenewsletter-bounces at scvqa dot org and newsletter at scvqa dot org before proceeding. We do not answer return emails from spam filters. - Please go to the sign-up page and follow the instructions.
- You will receive an email in return asking you to confirm that you do want to join the list. Follow the instructions in the email. The simplest option is to select reply, then send (using whatever the commands are in your particular email program)
- Once we have confirmed that you are a legitimate member of SCVQA you'll get another confirmation email.
- When the newsletter is ready for distribution an email will be sent to SCVQAOnlineNewsletter@scvqa.org
Problems receiving online newsletter?
There are several possible reasons why you're not receiving the online newsletter. Try each of these steps in turn to track down the cause:
- If you use a spam filter make sure that newsletter at scvqa dot org and scvqaonlinenewsletter-bounces at scvqa dot org are in the list of email addresses that your spam filter lets through.
- Contact She will check that you're a current member of SCVQA, and that we have your correct email address in the mailing list.
- If neither of these fix the problem then please contact for further help.

If you are not receiving your newsletter please contact to verify your mailing address.
Advertising
If you would like to place a business (display) ad or a classified ad in the newsletter, fill out either the display ad form or the classified ad form, and send with payment to the address in the form.

Rates for classified ads
Rates for classified ads (per issue): $1.50 first 10 words, $1.00 each additional 10 words or fraction thereof. (E.g. an 11 word ad costs $2.50 per issue).
