On June 28th , Natalya will teach her workshop Plastic Nature. She’ll share her creative way to help clean up our planet by making art from single-use plastic bags. We’ll collect these bags for a few weeks and then Natalya will guide us through making art inspired by nature from these collected bags.
Natalya Khorover is an artist who uses repurposed materials such as single-use plastic, vintage linens, dryer sheets and other materials which others would throw in the trash to create pieces of unique beauty – “art for the earth’s sake.”
Her work has been selected to be shown at many prestigious quilt and art shows across the country and has also been featured in periodicals and books. You can learn more about Natalya's work at her website: https://www.artbynatalya.com/
Her six-hour workshop will begin at 9 a.m. and end at 4 p.m.
