Join in on the fun of creating quilts for our community. We meet at Christ the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1550 Meridian Ave. San Jose, CA two times a month (use the parking lot on Alta Glen Dr.):
- Work day--3rd Wednesday of the month, 10:30-2:30
- Prep day--4th Wednesday of the month, 10:30-2:30
Bring your sewing machine and all your sewing things to work on sewing tops or quilting sandwiches. We have irons and ironing boards if needed. Or just bring yourself and help with the other things we do on workdays. We need help to sort the finished quilts, to make ready to quilts sandwiches by layering donated tops with batting, backing and binding, assembling kits, and curating the UFOs that have been donated.
Pack a lunch, the church has a lovely patio where we eat. We are a friendly group and look forward to meeting more SCVQA members.
